Our funeral home

Our funeral home is not at all like a ‘typical’ funeral director’s premises, determined to stay away from any sense of being dark or oppressive and instead opting for warm colours to welcome and comfort our visiting families. Through the front door, you step into a large spacious reception area that has a children’s corner with bean bags and activities, a comfortable seating area and also a drinking station.

To one side, is a large round circular table which is often used for making funeral arrangements in a more formal, but still relaxed fashion. Our large divider screens allow for privacy for the administration. Our chapel of rest is discreetly accessible form our reception area and therefore, people who would like to visit their loved one in rest, can come and go from the seating area (and drinking station) as they please.

We care for our families loved ones in our own mortuary (at our premises) and we are solely responsible for the provision and quality of their care; this is very important to us, and we feel confident and proud of our ability to provide such personal and firsthand care. It truly is our family looking after your family; we feel that this responsive and inclusive approach really is the only way to fulfil our role as your funeral director at your time of need.
