Funeral Order of Service
A funeral order of service is one of the most personal parts of saying goodbye. More than a guide to the day, it becomes a keepsake — something families hold on to for years to come. We help families across Ashford and Kent create an order of service that truly reflects the person it honours.
An order of service is a printed booklet given to everyone who attends the funeral. It guides them gently through the day — the music, hymns, readings and moments of reflection — so everyone can follow along and feel part of the service.
We take care of it all for you. We work with trusted local printers and coordinate the whole process on your behalf, carefully checking that every photograph, name and detail is exactly right. Each booklet is printed on quality silk paper, and we make sure they are there ready and waiting at the service — one less thing for you to think about at a difficult time.
There's no right or wrong way to put one together. It's your chance to celebrate a life and tell their story — here are a few things families often choose to include.
A short tribute, a favourite photograph or a few words about their life, the things they loved and the people they cherished.
What's happening during the service — the entrance, hymns, readings, eulogy, music and any moments of reflection — so everyone can follow along.
The full words to hymns, poems and readings, and the songs chosen for the day, so guests can join in and take part.
Where and when family and friends are warmly invited to gather afterwards to share memories and raise a glass together.
Many families include a few gentle words thanking everyone for their support and for being there on the day — a lovely, optional touch.
A saying they lived by, a line from a favourite song or a few words that capture who they were.
Alongside the order of service, we can print all manner of keepsakes to remember the day and the person you love. Think memorial and attendance cards, bookmarks and thank you cards to send afterwards.
We also love the more personal, unique ideas — their special recipe, a treasured quote or saying, the words to a favourite song, or a much-loved poem. Whatever feels right, we'll help you bring it to life.
The funeral is an opportunity to tell their story and celebrate their life, and we have over 25 years' experience helping families do just that.

Not everyone is able to attend in person — family overseas, loved ones who are unwell, or friends who simply can't travel. We can arrange discreet webcasting of the service so they can follow along from wherever they are, in real time or later at a moment that suits them.
We can also provide an electronic copy of the order of service, along with a simple link to watch the service online, so everyone can read along and feel part of the day. It's a quiet, dignified arrangement that never interferes with the service itself — just a lovely way for those who can't be with you to still be part of it.
